.Ripped off by Trixie Cole,
Designsbycpe and KT Labradors? Now going by the name of Trixie Cogar.
Yes, I do believe I was. Caution Horse

Stories of people
getting Scammed over the Internet - These stories are posted so you can read
them, learn from them, and not let it happen to you.
Reported on December 7th, 2009
For those of you ripped off by Trixie Cogar, fight back. I put a deposit down for a puppy when she had stated on her website that she was located in Michigan. I saved all my e-mails with her. I contacted my bank and filed a fraudulent internet claim. I just received my deposit back!!!

BEWARE!!!! This woman TRIXIE COGAR ripped me off. I put a $200 deposit down on an AKC lab puppy I never received my puppy or my deposit back. She should be put to a stop. I am going to take legal action Hopefully it will stop her.

Reported on November 15th, 2009
***WARNING***
Trixie Cogar is still at it... Nov 15th 2009 we purchased a "supposed" AKC registered English Labrador puppy as our children's Christmas gift. As soon as we paid for the puppy, Trixie would no longer return emails or calls and we never received the dog.
She is a criminal and should be treated as such. PayPal needs to be held accountable - from what I have read on the internet, this has been going on far too long. We were fortunate to find this website because it is how we discovered she is a scam artist. Her latest website is KTLabradors and most recent # is 616-886-9093. She claims to be doing business b/t Michigan and Arkansas. Please be advised, this woman is a CRIMINAL -- please spread the word so your family doesn't have to endure what we just went through...

Reported on October 25th, 2009
We bought 2 "AKC" English Labs from Trixie Cogar. We got the puppies and they were full of fleas, coccidia, and strangles. This is a skin condition that is very painful to the puppy. He has to be on steroids. We never received the AKC papers so I contacted the AKC after many failed attempts of reaching Trixie. The AKC informed me the parents of these puppies are not registered meaning the puppies cannot be registered. Well in Trixies favor I'm sure she couldn't take care of this being her father is probably sick and dying! What like the 5th time? He must be part feline! So I paid that scammer $1400.00 for 2 unregistered puppies!

Scammed by Trixie
I ordered a really neat barrel racing sweatshirt for my daughter as a christmas gift on Oct. 15 2008 and here it is Nov. 13 2008 and no sweatshirt! I have emailed Trixie (which her name should be called Trixster) 3 times with no response. I just got off the phone twice now with PayPal and they said to call her.....so I did. But, wouldn't ya know it, her phone is disconnected! Is that any surprise? So, I have filed a complaint and hope to resolve it soon and get my money back. It breaks my heart to know that people are so dishonest out there and scam others. Someday it will backfire on her.

Dec 2007
I placed an order for $79.93, 3 hoodies meant for Christmas presents, for Trixie Cole and never received anything and it's been a month. I should have known something was up because I received NO order confirmation or shipping notification, only my Paypal receipt. All emails went unanswered, and I have just opened a Paypal dispute.
I was horrified upon googling her name to find others stories of being scammed.

New findings on Trixie Cole (Designsbycpe),
and a summery... (I decided to put these updates and summery at the top, my story, from
the beginning is below)
__________________________________________
On May 28th 2007 yet another victim of
Trixie Cole is discovered...
"I find it horrid that Ebay / PayPal continued to allow this person to have access to their programs, I was ripped off by Trixie Cole on May 5, 2007... months after some of these things occurred with the PayPal account / eBay account. It sounds like PayPal and eBay
both dropped the ball...this person is not even trying to hide who they are...I guess they suppose since my order was small I would just forget about not receiving it."
Update: "Because I made my ebay purchase with paypal, I filed
a fraudulent purchase complaint with them. Needless to say, within 1 day, I
received the shipping confirmation for my sticker, and an email that she
enclosed 2 stickers, and received them yesterday in the mail. She seemed to
ignore me until I filed the claim."

.
Order Placed on March 2005 - I found a person who never
received their order from Trixie Cole, who goes by the name of Designs By CPE -
Designsbycpe- also goes by Country Pines Embroidery and Country Pines
Ranch), despite her extensive efforts which
included sending police to her house (police found her looking very well). She
was informed it would cost her more money to prosecute Trixie Cole than the
amount she lost. She decided not to go that route, she never did receive her
order. In March of 2005 Trixie had told the police her father was dieing and all
orders were just delayed. It's 2 years later and this person still has not
received her order. (This order was not placed through eBay).
Online theft in the horse community
Order Placed on Jan 17th 2007 - I
found someone named Carol who ordered from her through eBay. Trixie had very
similar conversations with Carol the day she placed her order, the same way I did. Than
she had a very hard time getting their order. Their emails were ignored for a
month. They filed an eBay report and a PayPal report. After these reports were
filed. Trixie used the excuse "Her father suddenly got
sick and was dieing" as the reason the order was delayed, (same reason she
gave 2 years earlier). Carol finally did get her order over a month later. This was an eBay
order, and I think that Trixie felt her eBay feedback was at stake. The
beginning of this story is so similar to mine. The difference in these two
stories is, I didn’t order with eBay, so could not affect her feedback rating
and waited too long to file with PayPal. I was giving her the benefit of the
doubt, thinking something happened to her since my friend got shirts from her
before. Carol had paid for her order and had conversations with Trixie about her
order a month and a half AFTER I placed my order. Looking at the dates, Carol
was emailing and getting a response from Trixie at the same time I was emailing
Trixie. Trixie ignored me, ignored my order. I had sent her a message using the
eBay form, and many emails through PayPal along with the 3 other email addresses
I found that she uses. I even had my friend who had recommended her email her
about me. Trixie responded to her, "order was delayed because of her father".
Yet she never emailed me and at the same time was selling to others. Wonder why
she did not email me with the dieing father story? If it were true would she not
tell all her customers. Oh but I didn't order through eBay and waited too long
to get money back with PayPal. Read full story with this customer.
There are others who ordered through eBay
that have not received their order or have received it months later (you can see
this by looking at her eBay Feedback.
Trixie Coles eBay
feedback
One man said. "I just received it on
Friday (April 13th 2007). 1 month for 2 stickers! I will not order from her
again. The package when opened reeked of smoke. Good Luck!"
April 14th 2007 - I noticed Trixie took
her eBay feedback link off of her personal website.
I am still looking to talk to others who
have not received their orders or who have had trouble getting their orders from
Trixie Cole. My conclusion is, she is eventually sending orders to eBay
customers because she realized she cannot get away with ripping them off, eBay
would eventually kick her off. However she is not giving this same attention to
orders shipped through her website. I have not received my order and I found
someone in 2005 who has not received their order despite their extensive
attempts.
She's been using the "Dieing Father"
excuse for at least 2 years now.
Is her father dieing? I don't know.
Why is she choosing not to email me back
with an explanation of a lack of my order? It's been 4½ months. I don't know
this either.
Is she a scam, or does she just have poor
business practices. I don't know this either.

On December 1st 2006 I placed an order
with Designs By CPE - Designsbycpe- (designsbycpe . com also goes by Country Pines Embroidery
and Country Pines Ranch), a website selling personalized Dog Breed, Horse Breeds,
Donkey, and Mule shirts, run by a lady named Trixie Cole. I ordered 6 shirts
totaling
$138.48 USD. They were to be Christmas presents for my 9
and 12 year old daughters, who are horse lovers, and enjoy riding their horse
and pony in fun show rodeos. Christmas came and went, no shirts; in fact New
Years, and Valentines day came and went as well, and still no shirts. I had a
conversation on the day I ordered the shirts with Trixie. She assured me the
shirts would be on their way, and then I never heard from her again. (Update
below, heard from her once 3½ months later, still no shirts) I emailed
her several times with no response' since she was so nice the first day I
ordered them, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waited. I kept emailing
her, no response and actually started to worry that something might have
happened to her. I contacted a friend of mine who referred me to her site. My
friend had ordered shirts from her and was happy with her order. My friend
decided to email her a "Hello" message, and low and behold, Trixie answered
back! She was alive! And than I started finding others who paid for an order
with Trixie and never received their order. I spoke to someone who said, they
sent the police to her house regarding her order, Trixie apparently answered the
door, looking very well, explaining to the officer, the order was just delayed.
Now I am wondering, if the order is simply delayed, why not email back and just
let your customer know? Instead we are all left believing we have been burned,
internet fraud, and maybe we were. At this point it sure seems like a scam.
I found this post on a Yahoo message board
from a person who ordered something from Trixie and never received it. Notice
the date, this was posted on March 14th 2005! I spoke to this person and to this
day, Trixie has not made good on this person's order.

I ordered the shirts via PayPal. PayPal
does offer a resolution center, however you have to file within 45 days of the
payment. Since Trixie appeared to be so nice, I believed her to be honest, and
although I didn't get a response to my many emails after the day I placed the
order, deep down I thought something must have happened to her. Wondered if she
was even alive. I waited too long. When I tried filing with PayPal I got this
back "This dispute closed because it was opened for more than 45 days after the
transaction date or did not meet other filing criteria."
PayPal Transaction from the shirt order
placed on Dec. 1st along with the first conversation I had with Trixie
Cole...

Hello!
Thanks for letting me know how you found my web site! I will have to thank
her!
I have a couple of questions on the Kids T-shirts I would like to clarify.
The Barrel Racers Rule is shown done in Orange place on a Black Garment,
If I do the T-shirt in Pink the design will be Black , or a hot pink would
look ok too, unless you really want it done in orange on a pink T-shirt.
The same with the Dark Grey T-shirt.
If you could just let me know 100% for sure what color design(Barrel Racers
Rule) you want on both t-shirts I would appreciate it!! Black, Pink, Red,
or Orange.
I fixed the web site pages that where not showing up for the Youth Hoodies
:-)
I am still getting my shopping cart all set up for everything.
Have a great day!

Oh no, lets not do an
orange on a pink T-shirt. Honestly I don’t know what colors I want. I
have a 9 year old who is more girly, she likes pinks, purples, her
favorite color is green, but she will wear grays and blue’s, not sure if
she would wear black
And a 12 year old who
likes dark blue’s, grays, browns, black etc…. I don’t think the 12 year
old would wear hot pink or pink. So how about you pick what looks
right. I don’t want them to clash and I can’t see the design against
the different colors. I will like what you pick so long as it does not
clash and bug out the eyes. And if I pick it just might clash and bug me
out. So the smaller T more with a girly look and the larger with a tom
girl look.

Subject: My Order
Hi Trixie,
I placed an order back
on Dec. 1st. I have sent several emails asking the status of my
order. Please reply to this email letting me know if I will still be
receiving my order.
(This email contained the PayPal receipt)
I continued to email her, with no
reply back... However, I was told she will email my friend back, same email
address. My friend asked her about my order, she told my friend her father
was ill. If this is true, why not email me back? By looking at Trixie Coles eBay
feedback, there are others who have not received their orders. Seems on
eBay she sends some their orders and not others. She just never answers them
back and never ships the product. I suppose if you order from her you have a
hit or miss chance of actually getting your order. Wonder how she decides
who actually gets their orders? I
found another on a message board. Searching on the net, I have found 4 email
addresses Trixie uses and I have emailed them all countless times with no
response. Yet, she is there, answering other people's emails.... Have I been
scammed? Sure seems like it...
.
Update:3-19-07
I continued to email Trixie the
following every single day to all three of the working email address I found
on her.
Hi Trixie,
I just wanted to email
to see if you were still going to ship the shirts? I am copying and pasting
our conversation from before about the shirts to refresh your memory. See
below. If you do not plan on shipping the shirts please refund my PayPal
Account $124.78. The order was placed on Dec. 1st 2006. Please
respond
Sharon
I knew she was around because she
was talking to my friend via email and people were leaving eBay comments.
She was talking to them. (I should have ordered through eBay and maybe she
would have cared to answer me or ship my shirts or in the very least email
me back). My friend asked her about me a few times, she said her father was
sick and she was catching up on orders. However in the threre months she never
bothered to email me and tell me this.
I started emailing her daily
refund reminders through PayPal.
After 3½ months I received
this...

Trixie,
Is this why you’re
choosing not to ship my shirts? http://designsbycpe.com/Message2.htm because you have a dispute with
your PayPal account? Well guess what, that’s just not my problem. I sent you
money; you got the money, if your account later blocked the money from you,
that does not mean you don’t owe me the shirts. An honest person would make
good on their orders, even if they somehow lost the money that was sent to

to see if you were still going to ship the shirts? I am copying and pasting
our conversation from before about the shirts to refresh your memory. See
below. If you do not plan on shipping the shirts please refund my PayPal
Account $124.78. The order was placed on Dec. 1st 2006. Please
respond

Since your obviously
not going to send me any shirts, can you at least have the decency to refund
my money? How honest of a person are you? You must feel really good about
yourself ripping all those people off. Nice…. You owe me $124.78.

Update: 4-14-07 Still no shirts
I didn't get the
order, so apparently they didn't go out. So what's the status? You going
to just keep ignoring me? you already crushed two children who didn't
get their Christmas presents. I placed this order on Dec. 1st of 06.
It's now April 19th 07. So what's up with this? You at least owe me an
explanation. Unless of course your are indeed a scam artist and in that
case I suppose you'll just keep ignoring me. You know, there are only so
many people you can rip off before this will all catch up with you.

Subject: My Shirts
Note: Trixie,
It's now pushing 5 months and I still have not
received the 6 shirts I ordered. The shirts were to be Christmas
presents. You had told me I would get my order by Christmas. These
shirts are for children and they are going to outgrow them soon and we
have not even received them. I know you're around and I know your
getting my emails. What I don't know is why you don't respond to me or
care about my order. The only think I can come up with is, you're a
scammer. If your not, and you have some other good reason for ignoring
my order than you really should email me back and tell me what is up. I
have been keeping track of our correspondence and my order status etc…
and am going to warn others about you and your business practices
because I don't feel it is right that you can totally ignore an order
and keep the money. If you have some type of personal problem it would
have been nice if you would have explained your situation to me, and I
would have waited patiently for my order. I have been holding off and
giving you the benefit of the doubt too long and am going to start
filing on every fraud and scam website on the internet and I am afraid
on these sites, once I file, I cannot retract my story. I feel going on
5 months for 6 shirts is long enough. I am requesting a refund, for the
4th time. I will accept the shirts as well. Starting Monday I will start
filing.

Hi Trixie,
So what’s the
status of my order? It’s been almost 2 months. Your ASAP is extremely
slow….
Sharon
I have not heard back.....
Story from a customer who placed
an order with Designsbycpe (Trixie Cole's company) on Jan 17, 2007, a
month and a half after I did. So at the exact same time Trixie Cole was
ignoring my requests to know the status of my order, she was taking yet
another order....
I paid on Jan 17, 2007. She had emailed several times
that day giving me all kinds of options and color choices. I told her I
needed them by Jan 29 for a Stock Show event for my little girl and she said
no problem.
At first, she answered every email within minutes. She had a barrel
racing sticker and I asked if it could be made into a shirt. She replied
immediately and told me what sizes she had available and even that it could
be in hot pink lettering to match my daughter's tack. Once I finalized
everything, I paid with PayPal and sent the list of everything I had bought
to make it easy for her to package up. Usually with eBay, stuff arrives
within 5-7 days on average. My daughter was at that mailbox daily looking
for it. After two weeks I checked to see when she shipped it and I asked for
shipping tracking number. No answer. I emailed again. No answer. My daughter
thought she may have a computer problem and so we gave it a few days. I
looked at her feedback list and she was getting feedback from recently
shipped items so I knew she was shipping out THEIR stuff. I kept emailing
and telling her how she has hurt a little girl and she stole money from a
little girl.... No Answer!! I waited and then emailed a few days before Jan
29. No reply. I emailed 2-3 times again that day. I emailed daily for a
week. Finally, I filed a report with PayPal and Ebay. I think she only
answered as "Cindy" once eBay started looking in to it. PayPal has a money
guarantee so they can deduct it right out of her PayPal account so I knew I
would get the money but it may take a while. You can read all of her
feedbacks and see when they purchased and when they leave feedback so it's
obvious she gets the emails and is just ignoring them. After filing with
Ebay and PayPal, and a few more emails telling her that a 10 yr old was
crying her eyes out because she didn't have those shirts for her event, we
get this email from Trixi Cole's email address on February 20th, 2007. ( a
month after paying)
"Hello, Trixie is staying with her dying father until the family can arrange
for in home nurse. I have pitched in here to help her out during this time.
I am sorry I didnt realize she had your box all set to go just needing a
label.
Here is the USPS Tracking Numbers 0306 1070 0005 5885 If I can help you in
any other way please let me know and I'll do my best.
Thank You,
Cindy"
Later on Feb 20, 2007
"Hello, I am sorry I wasnt able to figure this all out sooner for you and
Trixie, I know she loves her business she has but the problem with her dad
was sudden and theres no family members to stay with him 24/7 so she took it
on. I cant imagine how she is keeping it all together. My heart goes out to
her
and her family. I'll pass on your prayers, I am sure the family will be
thankful.
Thank You,
Cindy"
Later in the evening on Feb 20, 2007
"Thanks, I just hope I can figure out how she does all this ebay stuff and
not mess her feed back up to bad. I can run the machines, do the designs and
all that, I've just never done any of this ebay stuff and must admit I wasnt
sure how she has been doing this and not go crazy! I didnt even know where
to start or the process for shipping, not to mention being totally clueless
about pay pal! I think I am finally getting the hang of it all, keyword
being Think! I am not sure I could do what she is undertaking caring for her
dad the way she is. I love my dad, I'm just not sure I could handle watching
him pass away daily. Trixie is a very strong willed, compassionate person I
will say
that much for her.
Have a great night,
Cindy"
My items came within 3 days after that and I closed out the resolution
disagreement with PayPal since I had rec'd my items. I did have someone
email me that had not rec'd her decal. I told her what I went thru.I had
left her a negative feedback but with the "dying father" story, I went back
on to add a reply.
Here is her info if others need it.
"Please email me at Trixie Cole countrypinesmi@yahoo.com if you have
any questions.
